The rotary screen was originally developed for textile printing and utilizing these characteristics, this rotary screen can be used for building materials such as wall-paper & flooring, printing on biscuits, printing of thick-membranes and also label-printing, scratch-off printing, adhesive and the hot-melt process.
ROTARY SCREEN
Used for : Nickel Etching, Electroforming Process.
Characteristics
- Screen printing is done by the gravure rotary printing process.
- Utilizing seam-less cylindrical engraving, we were able to solve the joint problems that are the usual weakness of screen printing.
- Due to rotary printing, customers can print at the highest speed.
- The doctor blade inside the cylinder is set at a lighter pressure,. so customers can have more detailed patterns on designs. Also, the application of ink is able to reach a higher quality level.
- Not having influence of solvent evaporation or any dust, customers can get stable printing, due to the unadulterated ink inside the screen.
- It is very easy for customers to manage our screen, when changing its position, due to its light-weight (1~2 kgs).
- The material is made of 100% nickel and is superior for repeat processing.
- Customers can easily adjust the coating in printing speed, squeegee pressure, viscosity of ink, mesh of screen, and thickness & open ratio.
- Our rotary screen is also suitable for printing that requires a heavy coating.
All kinds
The Raw material used for the Rotary Screen is Nickel and the seamless cylindrical mesh screen’s holes are mostly hexagonal. Normally, this screen is about 100 microns thick with a 40 to 155 mesh. As for high-mesh products, there are TS, TSC and TSP type screens. Generally the Rotary Screen is engraved by the lacquer method. Please feel free to inquire about the galvano or pierce engraving methods.
- Lacquer Engraving
- It is the most popular engraving method. First the mesh screen’s surface is coated with photosensitive emulsion and dried. Then, the emulsion is etched by laser. This engraving method is being used in the business of textile printing, wall-paper, automotive and precise pattern printing.
- Galvano Engraving
- This is an electro-forming method of engraving. The resistance force of this screen is superior to lacquer engraving and it is also possible to be processed in gradation. This engraving is also suitable for thicker coat printing.
- Pierce Engraving
- This is a vertical chemical etching method. With this method a very high open ratio is possible so this engraving is suitable for the printing of coatings requiring higher volume.

Characteristics
- Adopting RM75 ~RM405 MESH, this screen is suitable for the printing of thicker membranes and also, IC tag antennas for RFID and so on.
- This screen can be mounted into other kinds of printing systems such as flexo, gravure, letter-plus and off-set.
- Customers can adjust in 1/8 inch increments for repeat size step.
- Due to the rotary printing method, customers can print with a higher speed.
